personality. Solana is different. She is a small body hosting two souls, one fighting for life and the other yearning for death. Ana was a creation before she was with Sol, a healer only to a man named Eero who kept her to himself. She is a monotoned woman with a healthy appetite to learn things, whether it gets her in trouble or not. She speaks her mind and asks a lot of questions and gives into her childlike nature and impulses quite regularly.
Sol, is different. She has a history that haunts her and drags her deep into the muck of her darkened mind. She smiles but aches on the inside. She is quiet and observant. She used to be a wild card and enjoyed life and the people inside of it but now she has the main goal of not being noticed.
By herself she is smart and caring and tender hearted. She cries at the drop of a hat and craves hugs and gentle reminders of affection.
Depending on who is running the show for that moment, they react according to the soul. While Ana is active her hair is a sleek black and her eyes a piercing green with several dark rings in the iris. While Sol is active, the tips of their black hair become a soft, dark pink and her eyes a similar color but sporting the same dark rings as Ana. Recently, they have found a middle ground, where they can both man the body at once, it is rare and only seems to be active during a fight for their lives. Their hair remains black but Sol's pink eyes float to the surface. She has only been in this state twice, as of the present day.
history. Sol was born in Gridania and knew she would never leave, she never wanted to. She loved the night life, she loved getting into fights and she loved waking up in a new bed every few nights. She knew she was better than this life, but she just wanted to have fun.
This is what she thought of as she felt her life ebb away as the healers forced their aether into her, trying to heal the gaping wound at her side. She was dying, and she felt like she did it all wrong. As Sol closed her eyes, Ana opened hers in her place. The healers never cared enough to note the change in her hair, eyes or demeanor, they only cared that she was alive and seemed to have amnesia. She did not know where she was or how she got there, only that her name was Ana. Eventually she was released and Ana spent the first two nights of freedom living in a small cottage that felt familiar to her. She never dreamed, and instead did the bare minimum to keep herself alive.
It took a week for Sol to come back to the surface, and at first the two girls clashed. Sol wanted her body back, and Ana wanted to live. Ana spoke of her master, the person who created her and who tried to force her doll like original form to be alive, and Sol decided they needed to find him. The more time they spent together the more it became apparant that Ana's taste for life well out did Sol's so a new agreement was struck. Find Eero, and let Sol die so Ana could live.
headcanon one. Sol wants to adopt a pet, but Ana keeps reminding her that they have a chocobo that is technically a pet, and when there is any silence inside of their mind the first thing that usually comes up is that Sol would like a puppy.
headcanon two. As a returned soul, they run cold and find themselves tucking into blankets often. Their apartment is full of soft blankets and most of their clothes are lined thickly with furs or warm velvets.
Ana is right handed while Sol is left handed.
headcanon three. Sol has a nervous tick of twirling her hair, while Ana has a nervous tick of playing with her sleeves. Neither had this before their intertwining.mixologist. Sol has spent a lot of times at venues and entertaining before she made roommates with Ana, and due to this she took a passion in learning to make delicious, potent drinks.
alchemist student. Similar to Sol, Ana is very good at mixing more practical things like potions. Now that she has more free time to study she spends a lot of time practicing.
forager. Solana live in the woods, as far away from the city as she could get without being a hermit. She tends to forage her own food and materials to make things or just to live.
special weapons. They carry a small, very precision based dagger tucked into their boot.
special items. The scarring on their back is remnants of a time with her master, and holds the scars with affection. Her waterskin is usually filled with a sweet, black tea versus water.
fighting style. Solana is a sturdy girl, and can take a hit, and prefers to be in the face of the enemy, unless taking a backseat for healing in which she stands in the back.
